Key Responsibilities
- Manage and oversee property financials, including the preparation of monthly financial statements, budgeting, and forecasting for multifamily assets.
- Ensure adherence to accounting standards and real estate industry regulations.
- Collaborate closely with property management teams to address both operational and financial needs.
- Assist in year-end audits and tax filing processes.
- Engage in strategic planning initiatives aimed at maximizing financial performance and asset value.
- A minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in real estate accounting, particularly with residential or multifamily properties.
- Proficiency in accounting software such as Yardi, MRI, RealPage, or equivalent platforms.
