Key Responsibilities
- Execute monthly journal entries and manage annual filing requirements, which include 990 Tax Returns, Cost Reports, and Workers Compensation Audits.
- Supervise the precise preparation, documentation, distribution, and reconciliation of payroll.
- Administer and oversee the payroll and timekeeping systems to guarantee accuracy and compliance.
- Ensure timely and precise filing of 1099 Forms and Unclaimed Property reports.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, encompassing functions, formulas, pivot tables, data analysis, data visualization, and automation (macros and VBA).
- Comprehensive understanding of accounting theories, practices, and GAAP standards.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent education/experience.
- A minimum of 3 years of demonstrated experience in accounting or payroll operations.
