Remote Sr. Accountant - Publicly Traded Company / 4 Days WFH

We are excited to announce a unique opportunity for a Senior Accountant to join our esteemed SEC Reporting team at a leading publicly traded company based in Miami, FL. This position offers a hybrid work schedule, allowing for four days of remote work and one day in the office, with an eventual transition to a fully remote setup post-onboarding. Key Responsibilities

• Contribute to external financial reporting for stakeholders and internal management.
• Collect and validate financial data from subsidiaries to ensure precision in consolidated reporting and compliance with SEC regulations.
• Leverage SAP to extract financial data and generate reports utilizing Excel and Business Intelligence tools; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous, though training is provided.
• Execute general accounting tasks, including general ledger maintenance, bank reconciliations, journal entries, and balance sheet examinations.
• Prepare financial statements and necessary documentation for SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K).
• Analyze and report on revenue, expenses, and overall financial performance.
• Assist subsidiaries in implementing adjustments and process improvements to bolster internal controls.
• Support both internal and external audit processes.
• Present financial forecasts and key insights to executive management.
  
  

Required Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (mandatory).
• Prior experience in public accounting or within publicly traded companies is strongly preferred.
• Familiarity with SEC reporting (10-Q, 10-K) is advantageous.
• Proficiency in both English and Spanish (written and verbal) for effective communication with subsidiaries in Latin America.
• Experience with ERP systems, particularly SAP, is preferred.
• Knowledge of Business Intelligence tools is beneficial, but training is available.
  
  

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Accounting is required.
• Previous experience in public accounting or with publicly traded entities is highly desirable.

• Salary: \(85,000 - \)110,000 (commensurate with experience) bonus potential.
