Key Responsibilities
- Prepare federal and state tax returns for partnerships and corporations.
- Manage quarterly and year-end tax provisions alongside footnote disclosures.
- Analyze general ledger accounts relating to tax transactions, including acquisitions and dispositions.
- Collect and assemble apportionment data for state tax returns.
- Conduct thorough research on various federal and state tax issues.
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state tax return preparation for both partnerships and corporations.
- Proficiency in analyzing general ledger accounts for tax-related transactions.
- Strong ability to conduct research on federal and state tax matters.
- Excellent skills in Excel and familiarity with leading accounting software.
- Solid experience in corporate, partnership, and multi-state tax compliance.
- CPA certification is a plus, with a Big 4 background being highly desirable.
- Familiarity with real estate and REIT tax matters is advantageous.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in public accounting, including at least 1 year of experience in corporate and partnership tax.
