Key Responsibilities
- Review and prepare tax returns for individuals, trusts, corporations, and partnerships.
- Manage a team of Tax Preparers, encompassing senior accountants and staff accountants.
- Ensure revenue and profitability accountability for your designated team or pod.
- Lead weekly accountability meetings and review processes involving team members.
- Conduct in-depth research on advanced tax topics to remain informed about industry developments.
- Collaborate closely with clients, providing strategic advisory services.
- Consult with prospective clients during initial discussions to assess their needs and objectives.
- Assist in addressing IRS and state agency tax notices.
- Participate in weekly team discussions to review project progress and align on objectives.
- Strong work ethic with a keen attention to detail and a commitment to ongoing professional development.
- Ability to manage confidential client information with utmost care and discretion.
- Proficiency in juggling multiple tasks with efficiency and professionalism.
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the talent for posing insightful inquiries.

- Bachelor's degree is required.
- At least 5 years of experience in public accounting.
- CPA certification is preferred.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is necessary.
