Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the month-end and year-end closing processes, including the preparation of journal entries, account analysis, and reconciliations.
- Supervise and guide junior accounting team members, enhancing their professional development.
- Conduct monthly reconciliations of subledgers to the general ledger.
- Ensure compliance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) for all financial transactions.
- Address information requests, assist with audits, and analyze financial statements.
- Maintain accounting ledgers by verifying and posting transactions at month-end.
- Contribute to the development of monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets.
- Collaborate with international finance teams as needed on a weekly basis.
- Prepare local tax filings and coordinate with external tax firms for quarterly and annual reporting.
- Execute financial analysis and reporting to support strategic decision-making.
- Proficient understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Experience in inventory management.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.
- Familiarity with Dynamics 365 is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting (mandatory).
- CPA certification is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in a similar accounting capacity.
