Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough research and draft clear, concise, and practical legal documents tailored for healthcare attorneys and professionals.
- Revise and enhance existing legal materials by integrating pertinent case law, statutes, and regulatory updates.
- Analyze and organize legal content focusing on compliance, licensing, reimbursement, and other regulatory issues.
- Ensure that all content remains well-structured and user-friendly for legal practitioners.
- Collaborate effectively with editorial teams to uphold the quality of legal resources.
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
- Strong writing and communication skills, with the ability to create engaging and clear legal content.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word (track changes), Excel, and online legal research tools.
- Expertise in healthcare regulatory law, compliance, governance, and transactional matters.
- Previous experience in legal writing, editing, and research, preferably for law firm newsletters, trade publications, or legal journals.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare regulatory law with a solid grasp of compliance, governance, and transactional matters.
- Active bar membership in good standing in the United States.
- Advanced knowledge in areas such as licensing, healthcare fraud, anti-kickback laws, FCA, and Medicare/Medicaid reimbursements.
