Key Responsibilities
- Respond to incoming hotline calls in a timely and professional manner, ensuring that agency objectives for efficiency and customer satisfaction are met.
- Evaluate the clinical needs of all callers, delivering safe and effective interventions tailored to each individual’s situation.
- Maintain thorough, clear, and accurate documentation of clinical interactions, ensuring all pertinent information is recorded and communicated to relevant programs.
- Collaborate seamlessly with internal and external teams, upholding a positive and supportive approach to teamwork.
- Monitor individuals on suicide watch or those requiring safety follow-ups, diligently tracking their progress.
- Remain accessible for urgent requirements, with the flexibility to work beyond scheduled hours during crisis situations as needed.
- Attend training and meetings outside regular hours to foster ongoing personal and professional development.
- Facilitate the onboarding and integration of new team members, aiding in their training and support.
- Ensure the operational readiness of hotline areas and assist other departments during downtime as needed.
- Participate in in-person events or activities, contributing to the agency’s cultural and developmental initiatives.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, ensuring effective interactions with callers.
- Strong customer service aptitude, demonstrating the ability to manage challenging scenarios with calmness and empathy.
- Competent problem-solving and analytical skills, adept at assessing crisis situations and determining appropriate interventions.
- Previous crisis management experience is preferred, with the capacity to remain composed under pressure.
- Proficient in multitasking while accurately documenting detailed information.
