Key Responsibilities
- Deliver remote counseling services to children, families, and individuals, including patients, parents, and siblings.
- Employ evidence-based therapeutic modalities tailored to each client’s distinct needs, utilizing approaches such as Narrative Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Play Therapy, and Solution Focused Collaborative Therapy.
- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive support to families, sharing insights and strategies to enhance care.
- Participate in family care meetings with other providers to ensure a holistic treatment approach when required.
- Proficient in various evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including cognitive and behavioral approaches, narrative therapy, and social constructionism.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with families and interdisciplinary teams.
- Capacity to adapt therapeutic strategies to meet the unique requirements of each client.
- Master's degree or doctorate in psychology, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field.
- Active, unrestricted clinical license or certification, with the ability to obtain cross-state licensure when necessary.
- Minimum of one year of experience in a therapeutic setting working with children or families facing developmental differences.
- Ability to secure licensure as a Mental Health Provider in all applicable states within 60 days of hire.
