We are seeking a committed and empathetic Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. This position is ideal for a dedicated professional eager to provide impactful care to individuals and families. In this role, you will perform diagnostic evaluations, design tailored treatment plans, deliver crisis intervention as necessary, and ensure continuous support for patient well-being.
Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patient medical histories, conduct interviews, and collaborate with colleagues to assess mental health status and deliver suitable care.
- Provide ongoing follow-up to ensure patients receive the necessary support.
- Refer patients to community resources or specialists when required.
- Deliver crisis intervention when needed.
- Develop individualized treatment plans with defined objectives and goals.
- Sustain a caseload of 27 direct therapy hours weekly for full-time, and 15 hours for part-time via telehealth.
- Offer flexibility in scheduling with various appointment slots available, including mornings, mid-days, and evenings.
- Execute 4-6 hours of direct clinical services daily, with the option to schedule additional hours if desired.
- Rapidly build and maintain your caseload with access to insurance panels and private pay clients.
- Focus on patient care while our team manages billing and client acquisition.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication capabilities.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, EHR systems, and online scheduling/client management tools.
- Comfort with telehealth services and virtual platforms for patient engagement.
- Strong customer service and telephone communication skills.
- An active, unrestricted LMHC license (or equivalent) in good standing in the state of California.
- 1-3 years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
- A Bachelor's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
