Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate nursing care to seniors and individuals experiencing illness or chronic disease.
- Assist patients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and nutritional intake.
- Provide support for mobility, including ambulation and transfers, as well as engage in range of motion exercises.
- Monitor and document vital signs, fluid intake/output, and blood glucose levels, reporting any notable changes.
- Collaborate effectively with nurse aides and medication aides to ensure the adherence to personalized patient care plans.
- Observe patients diligently and report any significant changes that may necessitate adjustments in care or medication to the facility supervisor.
- Perform additional nursing duties as needed.
- Active LPN license in South Dakota or eligibility for multi-state reciprocity.
- Maintenance of all necessary certifications.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Compassionate demeanor and dedication to providing exceptional care.
- Ability to assist with daily living activities.
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age.
- Previous experience is preferred, although new graduates are encouraged to apply.
