Key Responsibilities
- Conduct individual psychotherapy sessions with healthcare professionals via telemedicine.
- Create and implement tailored therapeutic treatment plans that address the specific needs of medical first responders.
- Ensure the maintenance of accurate and confidential client records in accordance with professional standards and regulations.
- Licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) or licensed psychologist (PsyD/PhD) in the state of New York.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working with individuals.
- Proven experience in assisting healthcare professionals or first responders in coping with stress, trauma, or burnout.
- Strong interpersonal abilities and awareness of diverse communication styles and priorities.
- Familiarity with telehealth platforms and online video communication tools.
- Expertise in evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), or Interpersonal Psychotherapy (IPT).
- Experience utilizing clinical diagnostic tools (e.g., PHQ-9) for monitoring treatment outcomes and client progress.
- Licensed therapist (LCSW, LMFT, LMHC) or licensed psychologist (PsyD/PhD) in New York state.
- At least 2 years of relevant clinical experience working with individuals.
- Background in providing support to healthcare professionals or first responders in managing stress, trauma, or burnout.
