Remote Medical Director | Behavioral Health Leadership

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Medical Director to join our team in a pivotal leadership position. Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as Medical Director, you will be tasked with overseeing the delivery of medical services and ensuring adherence to quality standards. Your role will encompass:

• Supervising the efficiency, quality, and management of medical practices within our clinics
• Crafting and executing medical protocols that align with current policies and best practices
• Leading and supporting medical staff, administrative personnel, and allied teams
• Acting as a key communicator between medical teams and organizational leadership
• Ensuring compliance with established medical policies and procedures
• Providing backup call coverage when necessary
• Mentoring and fostering the development of clinical personnel
• Conducting physical examinations, evaluating medical histories, and making informed medical decisions
• Prescribing medications, ordering diagnostic tests, and managing the comprehensive care of patients
• Maintaining meticulous medical records in accordance with regulatory standards and clinic policies
• Fostering a culture of respect, trust, and collaboration among team members

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will meet the following qualifications:

• Education: MD or DO degree
• Experience: A background in behavioral health or substance use treatment is preferred
• Licensure: A valid medical license in the state of practice
• DEA Certification: Current DEA credentials to prescribe controlled substances, in addition to any state-specific regulations
• Additional Requirements: Candidates must have no history of alcohol or drug misuse for the past three years
  
  

Compensation And Benefits

• Hourly Rate: \(150.00-\)175.00 per hour
  
  

This position allows for significant flexibility, with 90% remote work capability and occasional visits to local clinics.
