Key Responsibilities
- Conduct telehealth therapy sessions (individual, group, and family) for clients facing trauma, mental health, and substance use issues
- Employ evidence-based techniques to deliver high-quality therapeutic care
- Provide crisis intervention and support for clients in developing coping mechanisms and resilience
- Collaborate with healthcare providers and community resources to ensure comprehensive treatment plans
- Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions and therapeutic strategies
- Work closely with fellow clinicians and the clinical director to achieve optimal client outcomes
- Comply with licensing and professional standards
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
- Self-motivated with the capacity to work independently
- Bilingual in Spanish is an asset
- Experience with PTSD and complex trauma is preferred
- Familiarity with military populations (active duty, veterans, and their families) is advantageous
- Master’s degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or a related field
- Valid and unrestricted LMFT, LCSW, or Psy.D. license in California
- Previous experience as a mental health therapist
- Training in EMDR is preferred (training may be provided)
