Key Responsibilities
- Deliver therapeutic services to diverse client populations, including individuals, couples, and families.
- Conduct thorough assessments to determine client needs and formulate personalized treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals and community resources to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions.
- If applicable, provide guidance and supervision to limited license social workers (LLMSWs) to aid in their professional development.
- Fully licensed in Michigan (LMSW, LPC, LP, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Specialization in areas such as:
- Substance Use & Addiction Counseling
- Marriage & Family Therapy
- Trauma-Informed Therapy
- LGBTQ Affirmative Therapy
- Child & Adolescent Therapy (Including Autism & LGBTQ Youth Support)
- End-of-Life & Grief Counseling
- Anxiety, Depression & Mood Disorders
- Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ACT & Mindfulness-Based Approaches
- Psychoanalytic, Humanistic, & Integrative Therapies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Deep commitment to providing compassionate, client-centered care.
- Master's or Doctorate in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field.
- Active Michigan licensure (LMSW, LPC, LP, LMFT, or equivalent).
- Clinical experience is preferred, but candidates with a robust foundation in therapeutic practices are also encouraged to apply.
