Key Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate counseling services to individuals and families through in-person and teletherapy sessions.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify the psychosocial needs of patients.
- Develop and implement tailored care plans addressing the unique goals of each patient.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to facilitate holistic patient care.
- Assist patients and their families in navigating community resources and support services.

- Maintain accurate records of patient interactions and progress in treatment.
- Supervise and mentor limited-licensed medical social workers (LMSWs), offering guidance on their professional development.
- Engage in regular meetings with LMSWs to discuss growth and advancement in their practice.

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Commitment to providing exceptional care to all patients.
- Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a comparable field.
- Valid therapy license preferred.
- Familiarity with medical coding and documentation practices.
- Licensed to practice in Michigan.
