We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Behavioral Health Outpatient Counselor to join our dynamic team. In this full-time remote role, you will provide vital clinical services to individuals, families, and groups, assisting them in overcoming mental health and substance use challenges. Key Responsibilities
- Deliver clinical services, including individual therapy, group therapy, family counseling, and clinical evaluations
- Maintain comprehensive client records, treatment plans, psychosocial assessments, and service notes
- Complete documentation for authorizations in a timely manner, including Medicaid, MCO funding, and third-party billing
- Support clients in accessing resources and provide necessary supportive services
- Engage in clinical supervision and participate in team meetings
- Provide SAIOP services as needed
- Participate in the crisis phone rotation approximately 1-2 times per year
- Clinical experience in working with individuals, families, and groups facing mental health and substance use challenges
- Understanding of dual diagnoses and substance dependence/abuse
- Familiarity with the DSM-V model and proficiency in the 12 Core Functions
- Experience with electronic medical records
- Spanish-speaking skills are advantageous but not mandatory
- Master's Degree in a Human Services field
- Full or provisional licensure (LCSW, LCAS, LMFT, LPC) is required; full LCSW is preferred
