Key Responsibilities
- Perform thorough management of physician records which includes:
- Maintaining updated profiles, fee schedules, and doctor groups.
- Overseeing activation and deactivation statuses.
- Implementing W9 remit-to modifications.
- Researching and proposing new panel options as needed.
- Facilitate the onboarding of new physicians to fulfill client requirements, which entails:
- Handling administrative tasks related to panel maintenance.
- Negotiating agreement terms and costs according to established guidelines.
- Collecting essential documentation including agreements, applications, CVs, W9s, and NPDB documents.
- Collaborating with leadership to determine fee structures and providing necessary instructions for system access.
- Recruit and manage physicians in targeted regions, ensuring they meet specialized needs such as Independent Medical Examination (IME) services.
- Address licensing and certification prerequisites for physicians who will be recording sessions and maintaining designated schedules.
- Source urgent service requests and provide regular updates on recruitment progress.
- Establish and maintain a database of exam locations to support scheduled physicians.
- In-depth understanding of physician networks, medical specialties, and recruitment terminology.
- Familiarity with compliance standards at both state and federal levels.
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and organizational capabilities.
- Strong critical thinking skills with effective time management abilities.
- Proficiency in various computer applications and typing.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's degree is preferred.
- Proven experience in physician recruitment within healthcare or insurance sectors is highly desirable.
- Relevant business background in healthcare or insurance is advantageous.
