Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Outstanding Patient Care - Perform comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, prescribe evidence-based interventions, and provide continuous support for individuals experiencing mild to moderate mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
- Guide and Develop - Oversee and nurture a team of APPs (Nurse Practitioners, Physician Assistants, Advanced Practice Registered Nurses), ensuring exceptional care delivery, reviewing care strategies, and promoting their professional growth.
- Enhance Clinical Operations - Collaborate in refining clinical workflows and optimizing treatment protocols, contributing to best practices that elevate patient care outcomes.
- Educate and Empower Patients - Provide psychoeducation and strategic guidance to clients to enhance their understanding of mental health and promote active participation in their treatment plans.
- Collaborate Interprofessionally - Engage with therapists, counselors, care coordinators, and APPs to deliver holistic mental health care.
- Stay Informed on Innovations - Keep abreast of the latest advancements in psychiatric care, driving forward new initiatives to improve treatment methodologies and client results.
- Medical Doctor (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathy (DO) with board certification in Psychiatry.
- Strong diagnostic and treatment planning skills, along with excellent communication capabilities and proficiency in telehealth and electronic health records.
- Demonstrated experience in managing mild to moderate mental health conditions and responsible medication prescribing.
- Prior supervisory experience with APPs is advantageous.
- Familiarity with fast-paced healthcare environments and interest in mental health innovations are a plus.
- MD or DO with board certification in Psychiatry.
- Valid, unrestricted medical license in Florida (multi-state licensure is desirable).
- Proven clinical experience managing mild to moderate mental health conditions.
