- Supervise and engage with dogs in our daycare and boarding facility, ensuring their safety and comfort.
- Monitor playgroups to foster positive socialization and intervene as necessary to maintain a secure environment.
- Administer food and water according to specific dietary guidelines while ensuring a clean and hygienic setting.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the facility, including play areas and common spaces.
- Utilize PetExec and Slack to manage information and facilitate effective communication among team members.
- Adhere to health and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for both dogs and staff.
- Collaborate with team members to cultivate a positive, professional, and enjoyable workplace.
- Perform additional tasks as required to ensure the seamless operation of the facility.
- A genuine love for dogs and an eagerness to learn about canine behavior and care.
- Confidence in managing dogs of various sizes, temperaments, and energy levels.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to prioritize tasks in a dynamic setting.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills, demonstrating compassion towards both pets and their owners.
- Physical stamina to remain active throughout the day, including walking and lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Previous experience working with dogs in a professional context is advantageous but not mandatory.
