Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate on the formulation of both long-term and short-term capital improvement budgets.
- Oversee project execution from inception through completion, including requirement definition, schedule creation, budget estimation, and plan implementation while prioritizing risk mitigation.
- Monitor project advancements and implement necessary scope, schedule, or budget adjustments to meet objectives.
- Foster and maintain partnerships with vendors, local authorities, and industry professionals.
- Communicate project results and potential risks to management, escalating issues as required.
- Assist in the recruitment and training of onsite facilities personnel, providing ongoing development opportunities for maintenance and housekeeping teams.
- Conduct annual quality control inspections to ensure compliance with high standards.
- Develop, implement, and manage departmental policies and procedures.
- Provide comprehensive facilities management support to stakeholders and internal teams.
- Lead the reporting and negotiation processes for significant insurance loss incidents.
- Support acquisition and disposition activities as necessary.
- Travel locally and overnight as required.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication capabilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a customer service orientation.
- Outstanding organizational skills with meticulous attention to detail.
- Ability to adapt to evolving situations, identify key elements in complex scenarios, and make independent, informed decisions.
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, guidelines, ordinances, and policies.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and related business software; experience with Yardi, Procore, electronic maintenance management systems, and other project management software is advantageous.
- A bachelor’s degree in construction management or a related field is preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in capital improvements, project management, and multi-site facilities management, ideally within the senior living, multifamily, or hospitality sectors.
- Proven track record of managing budgets exceeding $5 million.
- Expertise in planning and overseeing capital and facilities management projects, including budgeting, RFP/vendor selection, execution, and payment processing.
