Key Responsibilities
- Event Management: Spearhead the solicitation and coordination of large group events, ensuring a thorough understanding of the diverse options available at our venues.
- Product Knowledge: Uphold an extensive understanding of our culinary offerings and the operational procedures associated with large parties, both in front-of-house and back-of-house settings.
- Client Engagement: Respond promptly to incoming inquiries, qualifying potential leads while delivering superior customer service.
- Prospecting: Proactively identify new business opportunities through strategic prospecting efforts, including cold calls and diligent follow-ups.
- Appointment Coordination: Schedule and facilitate meetings with clients to discuss event specifics, ensuring seamless communication between clients and restaurant personnel.
- Site Tours: Organize and conduct tours of our facilities for prospective clients, showcasing our premium services.
- Proposal Development: Design innovative and timely proposals tailored to client needs, encompassing menu choices and budget considerations.
- Contract Management: Compose and price contracts based on established booking guidelines, ensuring all financial transactions, including deposits, are secured and tracked.
- Relationship Building: Forge and nurture strategic relationships with clients and key accounts to enhance repeat business and referrals.
- Sales Reporting: Regularly meet and surpass sales objectives, providing comprehensive weekly reports on sales performance and forecasts to the Senior Director of Sales.
- Industry Engagement: Represent Clique Hospitality at professional gatherings, staying informed on industry trends and assessing competitive dynamics.
- Event Execution: Oversee all dimensions of booked events, ensuring client satisfaction and addressing any issues that may arise.
- Administrative Duties: Maintain precise records within our booking systems, ensuring all event details are documented and current.
- Experience: A minimum of 5 years in the hospitality sector, with a concentration on private events, sales, and catering preferred. At least 3 years of demonstrated success in restaurant group sales is necessary.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with platforms such as Tripleseat, alongside a strong command of Microsoft Office, Open Table, and other relevant booking software.
- Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities, enabling effective engagement with clients and colleagues.
- Sales Acumen: A proven history of success across all facets of the sales cycle, including prospecting, proposal creation, closing deals, and client relationship management.
- Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational capacities to efficiently manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines.
- Knowledge: Familiarity with profitability analysis, budgeting, and local regulations pertaining to liquor, labor, and health codes.
