Key Responsibilities
- Effectively lead and supervise subcontractors to ensure successful project delivery.
- Oversee all phases of construction projects, from initial planning to final completion, for both public and private commercial ventures across various industries.
- Administer safety protocols and uphold safety responsibilities on-site.
- Act as a representative of the company during client interactions and manage quality control initiatives.
We seek candidates who possess a comprehensive understanding of general construction techniques and exhibit strong problem-solving abilities. Familiarity with the technical aspects of construction is essential, including but not limited to:
- Concrete, masonry, metals, wood, and plastics
- Moisture proofing, openings, finishes, and specialties
- Equipment, furnishings, conveying systems, and fire suppression
- Plumbing, HVAC, electrical, communication, and security systems
- Earthwork, exterior enhancements, utilities, and demolition
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in building and construction management.
- OSHA site safety experience.
- Proficient in modern technology and exceptional communication skills.
- Strong technical understanding of various construction disciplines.
- General knowledge of construction principles and practices.
- A robust work ethic coupled with a commitment to teamwork.
- A valid driver's license and flexibility to travel as required.
- 9 years of experience in building and construction management.
- Prior experience in hotel projects is advantageous but not required.
- An Associate's or Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent experience in commercial projects, hospitals, public works, schools, or multi-family housing.
- Estimating expertise is a plus.
- Familiarity with project management software (Microsoft Office and SAGE 300 CRE).
- OSHA 30 Hour Training certification.
- Experience with LEED-certified projects.
- Proven track record in multi-story construction.
