Key Responsibilities
- Manage the entire sales process for membership enrollments at our Primary Care Senior Center.
- Drive patient enrollment through various outreach initiatives, including community events and partnerships with healthcare providers.
- Promote the clinic’s mission within diverse community environments, such as senior centers and places of worship.
- Organize and execute local marketing events designed to attract underserved and Medicare-eligible seniors to our clinic.
- Collaborate with health plan agents to facilitate patient enrollment in appropriate health plans connected to the clinic’s providers.
- Assist patients throughout the enrollment journey, ensuring they acknowledge the clinic as their primary care provider.
- Schedule initial appointments and ensure all necessary documentation is accurately completed.
- Maintain and track sales progress using Salesforce CRM, ensuring accurate reporting.
- Spend significant time in the field, engaging with patients directly and addressing common inquiries about switching primary care providers.
- Proven expertise in outside sales within the healthcare sector (B2B/B2C or insurance, including Medicare).
- Demonstrated ability to cultivate community relationships, especially with senior individuals.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational skills and proficiency in sales tracking using Salesforce CRM.
- Problem-solving capabilities to address patient concerns effectively.
- Self-motivated with a commitment to spending time in the field.
- Minimum of 3 years of outside sales experience in the healthcare industry (B2B/B2C or insurance, including Medicare; excluding inside sales or call center roles).
- At least 1 year of experience in developing community relationships with seniors.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation for territory travel.
- High school diploma or GED required.
