Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and develop the resident services staff to align with our organizational policies and standards.
- Create and maintain a medication management system in compliance with state, federal, and organizational regulations.
- Conduct thorough assessments to identify resident needs and formulate customized service plans.
- Manage departmental operations while adhering to budgetary constraints and organizational policies.
- Perform Quality Enhancement reviews to ensure regulatory compliance.
- Act as the primary liaison for resident care-related inquiries within the community.
- Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory standards for assisted living facilities.
- Schedule and supervise staff, providing coverage as necessary.
- Administer medications per state-specific guidelines when required.
- Assist residents with activities of daily living as needed.
- Facilitate training and orientation for new team members, along with ongoing professional development for current staff.
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with residents, families, staff, and the Executive Director.
- Support community hospitality, leasing, and sales initiatives by promoting a positive image of our environment.
- Engage in required training sessions to enhance individual and team growth.
- Foster positive relationships with families and healthcare providers, ensuring seamless care delivery.
- Cultivate active connections within the community and professional networks.
- Drive a company vehicle to various locations for community activities as needed.
- Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.
- Valid RN or LPN license as mandated by state regulations.
- Proficiency in direct patient care, including thorough assessments and clinical observations.
- Demonstrated experience in recruiting, training, and managing healthcare staff.
- Previous experience in a leadership role within assisted living or related fields is preferred.
- CPR certification and basic first aid knowledge are essential.
- Experience in organizing educational events is an asset.
- Successful completion of medication management training and ongoing required training is necessary.
- Flexibility in scheduling is crucial to meet the demands of the role.
- Availability on weekends is required.
- An accredited nursing degree (RN or LPN) is required.
- Experience in direct patient care and clinical supervision is expected.
- Background in staff training and development is preferred.
