Key Responsibilities
- Actively generate catering sales leads through networking, outreach, and relationship development.
- Provide prompt and professional responses to inquiries, detailing catering options, pricing, and availability.
- Conduct engaging site tours and tastings for potential clients, highlighting our venue and catering specialties.
- Collaborate with clients to tailor menus, floor plans, and event particulars to align with their unique preferences.
- Develop and present precise event proposals and contracts, ensuring that all details are clearly communicated and agreed upon.
- Facilitate effective communication with internal teams, including culinary and event staff, to guarantee seamless event execution.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the planning process, offering timely updates and addressing any concerns.
- Oversee event logistics, including equipment rentals, staffing needs, and special requests.
- Represent the restaurant at industry events and networking functions to enhance visibility and grow our client base.
- Monitor catering sales metrics and analyze trends to uncover opportunities for growth and enhancement.
- Maintain organized records of client interactions, contracts, and event specifics using Del-Phi software.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures to uphold service quality and client satisfaction.
- Participate in marketing initiatives, including the creation of promotional materials and involvement in campaigns as necessary.
- A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in catering sales or event planning, ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Proven history of achieving or surpassing sales targets and cultivating long-term client relationships.
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and negotiate effectively with clients and colleagues.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with Del-Phi software is advantageous.
- Insight into food and beverage industry trends, culinary terminology, and event planning best practices.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
