Key Responsibilities
- Lead and oversee the Purchasing Coordinator team, including recruitment, training, mentorship, and performance evaluation.
- Formulate and execute purchasing strategies and policies that meet our objectives, emphasizing cost efficiency, quality enhancement, and supply chain optimization.
- Supervise the procurement of materials, components, and services, particularly for aerospace and defense applications.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with key suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms to secure optimal value for our organization and clients.
- Collaborate with senior leadership to synchronize purchasing strategies with long-term corporate goals and market dynamics.
- Create and enforce effective policies, procedures, and best practices for the Purchasing department, ensuring adherence to industry standards and regulations.
- Manage departmental budgets and monitor procurement-related expenditures.

- Ensure compliance with AS9100, MIL-STD, export control regulations, and other relevant industry standards.

- Develop and assess key performance indicators (KPIs) for the Purchasing department and provide regular updates to senior management.
- Lead initiatives addressing supply chain risks related to market fluctuations and geopolitical factors.
- Drive continuous improvement efforts to enhance effectiveness, reduce costs, and elevate supplier performance.
- Manage inventory levels to balance cost control with operational needs.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and significant supplier meetings.

- Stay abreast of emerging technologies, market trends, and best practices in procurement and supply chain management.
- Minimum of 10 years in purchasing or supply chain management, with at least 3 years in a leadership capacity, preferably in aerospace and defense.
