Key Responsibilities
- Establish a warm and inviting atmosphere for clients and their families.
- Perform trauma-informed assessments to accurately identify each client’s unique needs.
- Deliver individual, couples/family, and group therapy to clients across various age groups facing mental health and substance use challenges.
- Maintain a reasonable productivity standard in line with your scheduled hours.
- Ensure billing for services is completed within 24 hours of each appointment.
- Utilize collaborative documentation as a therapeutic tool.
- Effectively coordinate care across health and behavioral health services to support holistic wellness.
- Assist clients with care coordination, peer support, and recovery services as needed.
- Facilitate smooth transitions of care by developing aftercare plans with clients and their families.
- Provide crisis management services and collaborate with emergency services when required.
- Educate the community about mental health by sharing valuable information with individuals and organizations.
- Implement evidence-based interventions, such as motivational interviewing, to create personalized treatment plans.
- Maintain flexibility in your schedule to accommodate both in-person and telehealth services, including triage and walk-in appointments.
- Keep accurate records as mandated.
- Participate actively in all required supervision and training sessions.
- Ensure your schedule is current within the electronic health record system to facilitate centralized scheduling.
- Maintain relevant certifications and complete ongoing continuing education to uphold your professional license.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in conducting trauma-informed assessments.
- Competence in delivering various forms of therapy.
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems.
- Knowledge of evidence-based treatment strategies, including motivational interviewing.
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload effectively.
- A Master’s degree in mental health counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited institution is required.
- Must be licensed or license-eligible (LICSW, LMHC, LMFT, LADC-I).
- Strong computer skills, particularly with electronic health record systems.

Compensation And Benefits
- Competitive salary ranging from \(62,400.00 to \)65,520.00 per year.
- A generous sign-on bonus of $5,000 for full-time positions, disbursed in two installments.
- Additional hourly compensation for language proficiency in Cape Verdean Creole, Haitian Creole, Portuguese, Spanish, or ASL.
