Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute innovative activity programs tailored to the interests and abilities of our residents.
- Create a weekly calendar of activities, encompassing both group events and personalized one-on-one engagements.
- Collaborate with the Activity Director to improve the overall resident experience.
- Engage with our Memory Care Program, ensuring residents receive specialized and thoughtful activities.
- Assist in the evaluation of residents' social and recreational needs, contributing valuable insights to care plans.
- Communicate with families regarding their loved ones' participation in activities.
- Mentor staff on the significance of recreational programming for enhancing residents’ well-being.
- Organize and support community-wide events, such as family nights and open houses.
- Manage and oversee volunteer programs, including training and supervision.
- Coordinate transportation for outings and medical appointments.
