- Facilitate the strategy for integrating new products and programs into our portfolio, collaborating effectively with the VP of Program Strategy and other Programmatic Directors.
- Develop and implement annual business development plans, coordinating resources and offering leadership to your team.
- Identify emerging trends and opportunities within the private sector to align with our organizational priorities.
- Oversee relationships with key partners, providing guidance and support to Program Managers.
- Build and sustain strong relationships with senior executives across relevant industries.
- Negotiate and manage agreements to enhance access and distribution of products in underserved markets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to craft compelling partnership proposals that resonate with our organizational goals.
- Ensure effective implementation of partnership agreements, promoting collaboration and adherence to commitments.
- Engage with technical and advocacy teams to align private sector partnerships with public health initiatives.
- Represent the organization at global health forums and industry events, advocating for our mission.
- Identify funding opportunities from private sector partners and work with the Development team to secure requisite resources.
- Bachelor's degree required; Master's or relevant certification in Public Health, Business Administration, or International Development preferred.
- A minimum of 10 years of experience in private sector engagement or global health.
- Demonstrated success in managing partnerships with pharmaceutical or health technology companies.
- Strong knowledge of global health challenges and access issues in low- and middle-income countries.
- Exceptional analytical, decision-making, and relationship-building skills.
- Experience working in a multicultural environment with effective communication skills in English; proficiency in additional languages is an asset.
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally as needed.
