Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough on-site inspections of both residential and commercial properties, evaluating damage due to accidents or adverse weather conditions.
• Engage with policyholders to explain coverage details and facilitate their understanding of the claims process.
• Collaborate with agents and various stakeholders to gather necessary information and efficiently resolve claims.
• Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries and concerns in a timely and professional manner.
• Document findings meticulously, collect supporting evidence, and prepare comprehensive reports to substantiate the claims process.
• Investigate and adjust personal and commercial property claims, overseeing claims valued up to $500,000.
• Assess coverage and policy terms to ensure claim validity and compliance with industry standards.
• Negotiate and settle claims within authorized parameters.
  
  

Required Skills

• Proven experience as a Property Field Inspection Claim Specialist within the insurance sector, particularly in handling property claims.
• Solid comprehension of property insurance policies and claims management.
• Familiarity with both residential and commercial construction practices.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle sensitive discussions with care.
• Strong organizational and analytical capabilities, with acute attention to detail.
• Proficiency in claims management software and related tools.
• Physical capability to navigate properties, including climbing ladders and accessing confined spaces.

• A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
• Experience managing complex or high-value claims, with a background in construction being advantageous.
