Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the complete project lifecycle, from initial planning and budgeting through to execution and final closeout, ensuring smooth operations at every phase.
- Lead, mentor, and inspire project supervisors, foremen, and technicians, promoting a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
- Develop and control project budgets, monitoring expenses to ensure financial adherence throughout the project duration.
- Create and uphold comprehensive project schedules, guaranteeing timely completion of all critical milestones.
- Champion safety protocols, ensuring all safety regulations are followed and creating a secure work environment for all team members.
- Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, including clients, executives, subcontractors, and field teams.
- Manage subcontractors to ensure compliance with contractual obligations and quality standards.
- Keep precise records of materials, labor, and overall project progress.
- Identify and address challenges proactively, utilizing innovative problem-solving skills to keep projects on track.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, Project, etc.).
- Strong communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Capability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- In-depth knowledge of national mechanical codes.
- Willingness to engage in extensive travel (up to 80%).
- High school diploma or GED (required).
- PMP certification (preferred).
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant project management and estimating experience within the mechanical sector.
- Over 5 years of hands-on experience in mechanical work.
- Valid driver’s license with an unblemished driving record.
- OSHA 30 certification (assistance provided if needed).
