Key Responsibilities
- Conduct general ledger reconciliations and other financial reconciliations
- Lead month-end closing processes and assist in budget formulation
- Generate detailed cost and compliance reports
- Drive project success by adhering to timelines and budgets while achieving positive outcomes
- Maintain clear communication with team members and clients throughout project lifecycles
- Manage various client engagements, reporting to Lead Consultants or designated project leads
- Take full ownership of project assignments from inception to completion
- Undertake additional responsibilities as needed
- Proficient in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, and MIP
- Comprehensive understanding of the accounting cycle, including AP, AR, and month-end closing procedures
- Advanced skills in MS Excel, including VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, and PivotTables
- Detail-oriented with a strong ability to work both independently and within a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication capabilities
- Strong analytical and mathematical skills
- Skilled in handling multiple projects simultaneously
- Eager to share knowledge and expertise with colleagues
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline
- A minimum of 7 years of relevant accounting experience
- Experience in healthcare accounting or public accounting is advantageous
- Familiarity with technical aspects related to Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) is preferred
- Ability to sit for extended periods while working on a computer
- Capability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally
- Willingness to travel as required
