Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate both domestic and international travel arrangements for clients, including air travel, accommodations, ground transportation, and rail services.
- Provide support for multiple accounts outside standard business hours.
- Engage effectively with travelers and travel arrangers, delivering exceptional customer service.
- Ensure compliance with client travel policies while utilizing agency-preferred vendors to optimize profitability.
- Uphold company standards in customer interactions, including professional telephone and email etiquette, while following established customer service escalation procedures.
- Adhere to company protocols regarding operational procedures, tool utilization, productivity, accuracy, and attendance.
- Participate in staff and training meetings to stay updated on developments in the travel industry.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- A minimum of 8 years of experience within a corporate travel agency or CID environment.
- Proficient in creating and managing domestic and international multi-segment, multi-destination itineraries.
- In-depth industry knowledge with the ability to stay abreast of evolving resources.
- Expertise in Sabre and Apollo GDS systems.
- Basic proficiency with the MS Office suite.
- Experience supporting after-hours travel assistance.
- Familiarity with Worldspan GDS is advantageous; willingness to learn is essential if not previously experienced.
- Must possess legal authorization to work in the US without restrictions.
