Key Responsibilities
- Familiarize yourself with our CRM system to effectively manage projects and leads.
- Cultivate and monitor leads throughout the program, ensuring meticulous attention to potential opportunities.
- Supervise customer and trade ally submissions to guarantee efficient project management.
- Collaborate with a Project Coordinator to collect essential information and documentation for project approvals.
- Validate and review technical data within project workbooks, making necessary updates as project scopes evolve.
- Proactively contact new and existing customers to meet energy savings objectives through outreach calls.
- Develop and deliver compelling program presentations to stakeholders and clients.
- Partner with building owners, property managers, and facility engineers to provide expert advice and help maximize available energy efficiency programs.
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of program objectives and customer needs to ensure effective and tailored solutions.
- Communicate energy-efficient technologies, such as lighting and HVAC systems, in an accessible manner to diverse audiences.
- Use spreadsheets and databases to track energy savings and current projects, collaborating with Energy Engineers as needed.
- Compile written summary reports for customers and the program manager, ensuring clarity and conciseness in project updates.
- Ability to simplify complex technical information for varied audiences.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with an aptitude for engaging and educating diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent problem-solving capabilities, creativity, and meticulous attention to detail.
- A cooperative team player with a positive demeanor, effective across multiple departments.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Willing to travel within New Jersey up to 50% of the time.
- Must reside in New Jersey.
- An associate's degree or higher in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline, or at least 5 years of experience in sales, account management, or a comparable role.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in the energy efficiency sector or related products, preferably within utility, government, non-profit, or public agency environments.
- Demonstrated ability to engage and educate audiences with varying levels of expertise.
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license with a clean driving record; responsible for vehicle maintenance and costs.
