Key Responsibilities
- Extend a warm welcome to guests, engaging with them before their arrival to understand their needs and special requests.
- Ensure that guest accommodations are meticulously prepared for arrival, greet guests upon arrival, and facilitate a seamless check-in process with complimentary refreshments.
- Collaborate with valet and bell staff to expertly manage luggage and parking for guests.
- Maintain continuous communication with guests, responding to their needs promptly through personal interactions and our app.
- Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the artwork displayed on our property, local galleries, and artists, guiding guests through artistic encounters as necessary.
- Assist guests with hotel and restaurant reservations and support the checkout process when required.
- Keep guest areas organized and pristine, accurately documenting relevant information, and working alongside colleagues to ensure cohesive operations.
- Handle guest requests skillfully, including personalized amenities and essential administrative tasks.
- A strong commitment to guest satisfaction and service excellence, complemented by a positive and engaging demeanor.
- Exceptional critical thinking abilities, adaptability, and self-motivation, allowing for independent and collaborative work.
- Detail-oriented with a strong capacity to perform efficiently under pressure.
- Outstanding verbal and written communication skills in English, enabling effective guest engagement and direction-following.
- A readiness to learn and execute essential job functions with accuracy and safety.
- Completion of high school diploma or equivalent; an associate's or bachelor's degree in tourism, hospitality, or hotel management is preferred.
- A minimum of one year experience in a guest-facing role, ideally within the hospitality sector.
- Familiarity with Opera management software is a plus, coupled with a background in food & beverage or art.
