Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct assistance to the Air Operations Center (AOC) Strategy Division.
- Lead both long-term and short-term planning, operational assessments, and guidance on Joint Air Operations.
- Conduct comprehensive Mission Analysis to accurately reflect customer requirements in the Joint Operation Planning Process.
- Analyze foreign military operations in air, space, and cyberspace to identify potential threats to critical infrastructures.
- Develop well-coordinated plan annexes, ensuring all related requirements are acknowledged and resourced.
- Facilitate the Master Air Attack Plan (MAAP) process in alignment with Combatant Command Operations Plans.
- Prepare and support approval briefings to the Air Component Commander regarding the Joint Air Operations Plan (JAOP).
- Collaborate with various stakeholders on long-range air component plans and ensure the production of essential strategic artifacts.
- Proven experience as a military air operations planner (e.g., pilot, weapons officer, or flight officer).
- Comprehensive understanding of command, service, Joint, or Combatant Command (CCMD) processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Exceptional analytical and planning acumen paired with excellent team collaboration skills.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in an Air Force Air Operations Center (AOC).
- At least 5 years working with the Joint Operations Planning Process Air (JOPPA) and related frameworks.
- A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
- Active Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility.
