Job Overview

The Procurement Manager will play a crucial role in overseeing the procurement processes for goods and services necessary for facility maintenance and operations. This position involves formulating and executing sourcing strategies that ensure high-quality procurement while fostering strong supplier and client relationships and ensuring adherence to industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the procurement of materials, equipment, and services essential to the maintenance and operational needs of our client accounts.
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies that align with clients' objectives and our organizational guidelines.
  • Conduct market research and cost analysis to discover opportunities for cost savings and enhance procurement efficiency.
  • Establish, assess, and manage supplier relationships to guarantee timely and high-quality delivery of goods and services.
  • Negotiate supplier contracts to secure optimal terms and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
  • Identify and manage potential supply chain risks in accordance with our operational guidelines.
  • Ensure compliance of all sourcing activities with industry standards, company policies, and legal mandates.
  • Compile and present comprehensive reports on procurement activities, including supplier performance and cost savings achieved.

Required Skills

  • Strong analytical and negotiation capabilities.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple projects and adhere to deadlines.
  • Knowledge of market analysis and supplier evaluation methodologies.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • At least 5 years of experience in procurement or sourcing, ideally within the facility management sector.
