Key Responsibilities
- Deliver advanced life support care to patients experiencing illness or injury.
- Ensure the safe transportation of patients of all ages to appropriate medical facilities.
- Assist with various services and events as directed.
- Completion of a paramedic training program from an accredited institution.
- Ability to organize, problem-solve, and make decisions in emergency situations while working independently.
- Familiarity with the street and highway systems within the service area.
- Current Paramedic Certification from Minnesota or Wisconsin (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
- American Heart Association ACLS and BLS Certification (or equivalent) required upon hire or within 14 days.
- Valid State Class D driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- American Heart Association or American Red Cross PALS Certification and ICS-100, ICS-200, and ICS-700 (or ability to obtain within 60 days of hire).
