Key Responsibilities
- Support the Quality Management and Accreditation Director in various quality-related activities.
- Oversee initiatives focused on quality improvement, risk management, patient safety, and core measures.
- Collaborate with administration, healthcare providers, and staff to elevate awareness and practices surrounding quality and patient safety.
- Manage significant clinical event investigations and reporting.
- Coordinate regulatory compliance surveys, ensuring adherence to established standards.
- Design and deliver training programs targeted at enhancing quality and safety education.
- Lead committees and initiatives dedicated to performance improvement.
- Analyze data and conduct performance reviews to identify areas for enhancement.
- Serve as a primary resource for quality and performance improvement initiatives.
- Strong leadership abilities coupled with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven capability to work collaboratively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- A strong commitment to advancing healthcare quality and patient safety.
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent experience of 4-6 years may substitute for formal education.
- Certification as a Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Certification in Infection Control (CIC), or equivalent is required within one year of hire.
- At least 3 years of experience in monitoring quality and regulatory requirements, including planning and managing process changes.
