Job Overview
We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a skilled and committed professional to become a vital member of our team as a Launch Area Coordinator / Tasking Authority (LAC/TA). This pivotal role supports the Afloat Training Group Pacific (ATGPAC) and is dependent on the successful submission and award of a contract proposal.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate computer-based simulations and Live, Virtual, Constructive (LVC) events in the ATGSD Battle Lab to bolster Pacific Fleet readiness.
- Integrate both live and synthetic training for ships and teams, focusing on Final Battle Problems (FBP), Inport Training Exercises (MITE), and certification events.
- Employ the Navy Continuous Training Environment (NCTE), Tactical Data Links (TDL), and the Mission Distribution System (MDS) to develop realistic operational scenarios.
- Collaborate with the Tactical Training Group Pacific (TTGP) to implement Fleet Synthetic Training (FST) Program events.
- Assist in the support of the Distributed Training Architecture (DTA) guided by the Commander, Pacific Fleet (CPF).
- Extensive experience in ship Combat Systems management.
- Proven expertise in executing the Task Group Concept.
- Hands-on experience as a Fleet or Carrier Strike Group TLAM Officer/Assistant.
- Proficiency in systems such as MDS, TSN, GCCS-M, and TCT for scenario development and training.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in ship Combat Systems, encompassing configuration, operation, maintenance, and repair.
- Naval Warfare Specialist with practical experience as a LAC/TA, senior staff member for a Task Group/Force Coordinator, or as a Senior Facilitator in training warfare commanders or senior staff members.
- Proficient in scenario development, training configuration, and operational experience with relevant systems such as Modeling and Simulation, Joint Semi-Automated Forces (JSAF), and Tactical Data Information Links (TDL).
- Must possess an active Secret Security Clearance.
