Job Overview

As a Virtual Sales Representative within our oncology division, you will assume a pivotal role in the marketing and sales of pharmaceutical products through virtual channels, including teleconferences and phone discussions. Your responsibilities will entail delivering key selling messages, product materials, and samples to healthcare professionals, cultivating robust relationships, and driving product growth. You will engage closely with healthcare providers, support staff, and administrators to promote product uptake while adhering to a patient-first approach and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Product Education & Engagement: Clearly convey the features, advantages, and clinical evidence of products to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office personnel, ensuring adherence to industry regulations. Tailor communication to meet the specific requirements of each healthcare provider, aiding in informed decision-making and delivering substantial value.
  • Virtual Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with healthcare professionals, office staff, and administrators, fostering open channels of communication. Utilize video conferencing and phone calls to engage customers with professionalism and credibility.
  • Sales Performance & Territory Management: Meet and exceed sales objectives by promoting customer activation and product adoption in designated territories. Collaborate with colleagues to synchronize strategies and exchange best practices for optimal results.
  • Data-Driven Insights & Reporting: Employ CRM tools to monitor interactions, organize schedules, and document essential insights. Evaluate data to uncover trends, opportunities, and growth areas, providing valuable feedback to the sales and marketing teams for strategic enhancement.
  • Compliance & Professional Development: Uphold compliance with industry regulations, corporate policies, and ethical standards. Engage in continuous training and development initiatives to refine your skills and expertise.
  • Customer-Centric Approach: Prioritize the needs of healthcare providers, delivering solutions that add value and support patient care. Respond promptly to inquiries and offer exceptional customer service while maintaining a patient-focused mindset in all interactions.

Qualifications

  • A Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
  • Minimum of 18 months of experience in virtual sales, preferably within the pharmaceutical or oncology field.
  • Proven ability to work independently while aligning with broader team objectives.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
  • Strategic thinking aptitude with a focus on results, accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, facilitating meaningful discussions with healthcare professionals.
