Key Responsibilities
- Spearhead the growth of the Commercial Project Division (CPD) by collaborating with the Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Regional Sales Managers, and Technical Sales Support Managers to develop precise sales plans and architectural strategies.
- Advocate for our products to architects, designers, contractors, and other key stakeholders to broaden project specifications and ensure successful execution.
- Generate educational initiatives for architects, contractors, and subcontractors to cultivate long-lasting relationships and promote continuous specification of products.
- Serve as the primary liaison for architectural and engineering partners, offering support to professionals throughout the U.S. and Canada, in coordination with field sales representatives.
- Ensure architectural documentation remains current, including specifications, master booklets, and BIM libraries for effective collaboration.
- Utilize your expertise in waterproofing and tile backer applications to secure product specifications with architects, designers, and engineers.
- Present project estimates accurately, calculating necessary product types and quantities within project scopes, and tracking progress through to completion.
- Engage with our distributor network by providing regular training on products and sales strategies to enhance market reach.
- Manage customer databases effectively using lead tracking software and CRM systems to identify and nurture project opportunities.
- Represent our brand at significant industry events, contributing to the creation of impactful promotional materials.
- 3-5 years of experience in outside or architectural sales, including supervisory responsibilities.
- Proven leadership abilities, with experience managing architectural sales professionals.
- Comprehensive understanding of architectural specifications and construction design elements, particularly in building or flooring products.
- Exceptional communication, presentation, and listening skills, with a persuasive approach that fosters rapport with diverse groups.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems, and other online tools.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% with a valid driver’s license.
- Ability to sit, stand, and occasionally lift items weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Bachelor's degree (4 years) or higher in a relevant field.
