Job Overview

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and manage multiple project teams to effectively reach defined goals and objectives.
• Offer strategic oversight to project managers, aligning their efforts with broader business objectives.
• Articulate project scopes, establish schedules, manage budgets, and allocate resources efficiently.
• Proactively track project advancement, identifying and addressing challenges as they arise.
• Oversee contract management, including modifications and additional services.
  
  

Team Management & Mentorship

• Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to project managers and junior staff members.
• Cultivate a high-performing team environment that encourages collaboration and professional development.
• Set clear expectations, responsibilities, and deadlines for team members.
• Conduct performance assessments and supply constructive feedback.
  
  

Client & Stakeholder Communication

• Act as the primary liaison for clients, ensuring their project specifications and needs are consistently met.
• Represent clients at public meetings, engaging effectively with various stakeholders.
• Deliver regular updates on project milestones, risks, and deliverables to leadership teams.
  
  

Financial Oversight & Quality Assurance

• Manage project financials, including budget oversight, billing processes, and accounts receivable.
• Ensure that projects adhere to high-quality standards and comply with QA/QC guidelines.
• Address and resolve any disputes, negotiations, or project-related challenges.
  
  

Process Improvement & Business Development

• Assess and enhance company practices to drive greater project management efficiency.
• Contribute to strategic initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
• Engage in industry events, conferences, and business development opportunities to expand professional networks.
  
  

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or a related Engineering discipline.
• Professional Engineer (PE) License is preferred.
• A minimum of 15 years of experience in managing public works projects, ensuring they are delivered on time and within budget.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, Civil 3D, Bluebeam, and Pipe Networks.
• Proven leadership capabilities with a track record of managing cross-functional teams.
• Strong skills in problem-solving, negotiation, and decision-making.
• Experience in contract management, risk evaluation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Valid driver's license and automobile insurance.
