Key Responsibilities
- Engage with vendors to obtain quotes, ensure the accuracy of product data, and assist in the development of new products.
- Maintain an extensive database of over 40,000 SKUs to monitor product information effectively.
- Assist the sales team with quotations, including constructing net/list pricing and verifying profitable margins.
- Collaborate with the marketing department to ensure that all promotional materials, catalogs, and website content is accurate and current.
- Merchandise products in showrooms and prepare for photography and trade shows.
- Attend industry trade shows and sales conferences to foster relationships with sales teams and prospective clients.
- Support product managers in the development of new products by researching market trends, analyzing competitor offerings, and crafting presentations.
- Work alongside IT teams to troubleshoot and enhance data integration systems.
- Utilize Power BI to create sales reports and facilitate supplier review presentations.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between product managers, sales teams, vendors, and clients.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support the team.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong analytical skills with intermediate proficiency in Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively while maintaining organization.
- Strong communication skills are essential.
- Capability to perform physical activities such as twisting, bending, kneeling, reaching, walking, and squatting throughout the workday.
- An Associate’s degree in business or a related field is preferred.
- This role is designed for candidates at the entry-level; prior experience is not necessary but can be advantageous.
