As an Associate Product Manager specializing in Accessories & Appliances, you will collaborate closely with our Director of Marketing for Appliances, playing a vital role in product innovation and development to propel brand growth. You will assist in driving the efficient and timely introduction of new products to market, working within a hybrid structure based in Century City.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate in the sourcing and development of hair accessories and electric appliances, ensuring on-time delivery from vendors and manufacturers.
- Support the development process of electric appliances while maintaining product specifications and timelines.
- Create thorough product briefs and packaging specifications to guarantee clarity and precision.
- Assist in product reviews alongside leadership and the Creative team to gather feedback and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Coordinate vendor purchase orders to facilitate seamless order fulfillment.
- Contribute to supplier negotiations, participating in discussions regarding pricing, contract terms, and lead-time management to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Work with the Purchasing team and Project Manager to ensure timely product launches.
- Assist in developing product launch materials, including presentations and sales enablement resources.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external partners.
- Support ad-hoc projects and various product management initiatives as needed.
- Participate in product testing and quality assessments to uphold high standards.
- Assist in cost-benefit analyses to evaluate product profitability.
- Analyze sales data and market trends to inform product performance reporting and optimizations.
- Remain informed about market trends, identifying innovation opportunities through research and competitor analysis.
- Attend trade shows and industry events to stay updated on new developments.
- Experience in sourcing or developing hair accessories and electric appliances is advantageous.
- Strong knowledge of cost analysis, pricing strategies, and margin optimization.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong project management capabilities and interpersonal skills, adept at handling multiple tasks and stakeholders effectively.
- Attention to detail and the ability to thrive under pressure.
- Enthusiasm for innovation, beauty, and emerging trends.
- A discerning eye for product design with an understanding of consumer preferences in the beauty sector.
- Fluency in Mandarin is a plus.
- A high school diploma or GED is required.
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- 3 years of experience in product sourcing, development, and/or management.

Compensation And Benefits
- Base Salary: \(70,000 - \)80,000, commensurate with experience, skills, and geographical location.
- Bonus: Participation in a discretionary bonus plan based on personal performance and company results.
