Key Responsibilities
- Formulate and sustain a forward-thinking 3-year strategic plan to cultivate product and category expansion while ensuring adherence to profitability benchmarks.
- Evaluate sales performance, market trends, and competitive dynamics to render data-informed decisions that boost product efficacy.
- Establish and oversee profit and loss (P&L) targets across diverse categories and channels.
- Spearhead the comprehensive development of new products and imports, encompassing pricing, positioning, regulatory compliance, and packaging considerations.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Operations, R&D, and other teams to facilitate seamless product development and maintain alignment with strategic objectives.
- Conduct thorough analyses to pinpoint market gaps, propose new product initiatives, and support the organization's strategic aims.
- Manage product lifecycles, inclusive of enhancements, rationalization, and planned retirements.
- Design and implement marketing strategies for new offerings and develop methods to effectively engage with consumers.
- Oversee marketing projects such as packaging design, advertising campaigns, digital marketing, and social media, working in concert with internal teams and external partners.
- Coordinate with external vendors, including advertising and market research firms, to execute impactful marketing campaigns.
- Identify research requirements, monitor market trends, and stay informed on category developments to guide decision-making.
- Produce engaging marketing and sales materials, including brochures, sell sheets, and promotional content.
- Construct and manage the annual marketing budget, ensuring all initiatives align with financial objectives.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, or a related discipline (MBA is advantageous).
- A genuine enthusiasm for food and a keen interest in the food industry.
- Over 8 years of experience in brand or product innovation marketing (CPG experience is essential), preferably within the food sector.
- Experience in both B2C and B2B markets with a robust understanding of P&L management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint) and familiarity with data analytics tools such as IRI, Nielsen, or Spins.
- Exceptional verbal, written communication, and presentation capabilities.
- A demonstrated history of meeting deadlines and managing tasks effectively.
- Readiness to travel as required.
- Korean bilingual proficiency is preferred but not mandatory.
