Key Responsibilities
- Provide guidance and support to teaching staff to deliver engaging, high-quality instruction and implement lesson planning and assessment using the COR Advantage Assessment tool.
- Ensure adherence to NAEYC Accreditation and DC Early Learning Standards, including effective curriculum implementation in classrooms.
- Assess staff training requirements and coordinate opportunities for professional development.
- Foster strong relationships with parents and the community, creating an inclusive and welcoming environment.
- Oversee staff supervision and facility management to uphold a safe and productive atmosphere.
- Stay informed of all regulatory requirements and promptly address compliance needs.
- Develop and execute a strategic marketing and recruitment plan to achieve full enrollment capacity.
- Extensive knowledge of ITERS, CLASS, and QRIS assessment tools.
- Proven capability to foster a warm, inclusive environment where families feel valued and engaged.
- Experience in staff leadership, curriculum implementation, and operational management.
- A proactive approach to problem-solving, organization, and meeting regulatory standards.
- A bachelor's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or a related field is required.
