Job Overview
As a Sales Project Estimator, you will play a pivotal role in estimating HVAC installation projects for both residential and light commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately estimate costs for HVAC installation projects.
- Conduct load calculations for appropriate equipment sizing.
- Prepare comprehensive material and wiring lists.
- Oversee job costing and estimate labor hours.
- Draft detailed estimates and installation contracts.
- Collaborate closely with the owner to drive project success.
- Minimum of 5 years of HVAC estimating experience or relevant field experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) with strong data entry skills.
- Basic accounting knowledge.
- Ability to perform load calculations and compile material lists.
- Familiarity with Federal, State, and Local HVAC incentives is a plus.
- HVAC Trade School certification is preferred.
- Experience with WriteSoft software is desirable.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with an insurable driving record.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
