Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the sales team to ensure that project briefs are comprehensive, clearly outlining the project scope, client specifications, constraints, and budget parameters for a seamless transition to internal teams.
- Work alongside the costing team to facilitate accurate and efficient quote processing.
- Partner with the R&D team to monitor the progress of submissions, ensuring alignment with client expectations and budgetary considerations, while implementing necessary adjustments as required.
- Engage with purchasing and operations teams to secure the timely delivery of raw materials and components for initial production runs. Participate actively in kickoff, first fill, and post-production review meetings.
- Coordinate with Customer Service to ensure smooth execution of initial product runs.
- Maintain proactive communication with stakeholders and leadership regarding project statuses, financial conditions, risks, and mitigation strategies to foster transparency across teams.
- Identify and address potential impediments concerning budgets, resources, and timelines in conjunction with leadership and the Product Development team.
- Manage multiple projects effectively, prioritizing tasks in alignment with organizational objectives.
- Contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the product development process by sharing insights, refining tools, and improving team workflows.
- Lead cross-functional teams throughout all stages of product development, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgetary constraints.
- Cultivate a high-performance culture within the product development team, promoting accountability and excellence.
- Strong organizational and project management capabilities, adept at handling multiple priorities while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
- Proven track record of leading and managing multiple projects through comprehensive development lifecycles.
- In-depth understanding of product development and contract manufacturing processes.
